Acts of Faith Theatre Festival

2/4/2012

For the 8th year, Richmond's Acts of Faith Festival will provide an opportunity for members of St. Bart's to attend a play together at Chamberlayne Actors Theatre and discuss the production afterward with a panel which will include our own Interim Rector, Bruce Birdsey, as well as a Rabbi, a representative from an assisted living facility, the play's director and cast.

ALMIGHTY BOB by Tom Mula, is about feisty old Bob who is hard to handle since he had a stroke so his daughter admits him to Providence, an assisted living home. Once he arrives though, bizarre things start happening. Is Bob delusional or are these amazing things really going on? A touching show about faith, in ourselves, and those around us. The play raises some serious issues about dying, the role of religion, and how we care for the aging.

The play will run from January 20 - February 5th at CAT.  Click for more information on Chamberlayne Actor's Theatre
