Andrew A. "Andy" Dunks Installed as Rector

Henrico VA--August 19, 2012 -- With a packed congregation witnessing,The Reverend Andrew A. "Andy" Dunks was installed by Bishop Suffragan Susan Goff as third Rector of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Henrico County, Virginia on August 19, 2012.
The overflow crowd participated joyfully in the service which marked a new era for the church which is in its 51st year of existence. Gifts symbolising the ministry of the rector and of the congregation were exchanged, and an enthusiastic round of applause welcomed the new Rector and his family when they were officially presented.

Beginning as a mission in Richmond's West End area in 1961, the congregation moved to its present location on Patterson Avenue near the Goochland County line in 1973. It achieved parish status in 1986.
