AN IMPORTANT EVENT COMING SOON FOR THE LADIES OF ST. BART'S
On Sunday, April 30th , following our worship service, we will be having a combined pot-luck luncheon and baby shower. The baby shower will be for the young Afghan woman, Sahar (Wesley Ann has been helping her with legal matters) and also for her aunt, Anita, who has been here a little longer than Sahar and her husband. Sahar is expecting a baby boy and Anita, a baby girl.
What fun it will be for the women of our church family to gather again after such a long absence of doing so and to share in the joy of these two young refugee women as they prepare to bring new life into the world. They will miss their families being with them and we can give them our support and love at this very special time in their lives.
